Australia’s largest and most spectacular Christmas celebration, the Myer Christmas Parade, will once again wind its way down Bourke St from Spring St to Elizabeth St, to mark the arrival of the festive season on Saturday 13th November 2010.
In previous years we have had a broad range of groups from throughout Melbourne participate in the parade. These include but are certainly not limited to Dance Groups, Cheerleading Groups, Cultural Dance and Musical Groups, Sporting Organisations, Service Groups such as SES and CFA, Charity Organisations and Marching Bands.
What better way to showcase your group or organization than to join in and celebrate the coming festive season in this joyous annual gala event?To participate in the parade, groups are required to complete an expression of interest which includes detailed information on the group and how it would add to the parade. Once the all expressions of interest have been received, we then select the best groups from the pool to be part of the excitement.
