Dave has worked with Shell Retail over many years to create exciting and innovative ideas to help them celebrate Christmas. One of the most difficult situations we have to deal with is when we continue to impress clients over a long term and are continuously challenged to come up with "something new" every year. 2007 was no different...
Taking the idea of a progressive dinner, we worked with the team at Damm Fine Food to develop a new concept we call the progressive buffet. Rather than moving the guests we moved the food. Two buffets were setup in the Alto event space at GPO. The six menues were delivered one after the other. With buffets from Spain, China, Morroco, France and the USA plus dessert the guests were treated with the best that each cuisine had to offer.
Traditional christmas decoration and some fantastic entertainment including a cirque styled musical act and mouth-of-the-moment Catherine Deveny doing stand-up, the guests had a night to remember.
